Dial L for Love

Love is the most well-known word in the English language. This four little word can also be used and abused. It is widely used in all kinds of situations. There are so many varieties of love and so many legitimate objects of love that it's difficult to pin the word "love" to one individual or object!!!

It has been suggested that love has a big following! It has many uses and we use it to describe how we feel towards our family, significant other, friends and furry friends. The thing about love, is that, we can express it in different ways. Some just say the word, some use action to express their love, some cook as a token of love and some write sweet/romantic notes to loved ones.

Valentine's day is celebrated every 14th February. The question is do we need a special day to tell our loved ones we love them??? Each to his/her own.

As for moi, i show my love to my loved ones everyday. I may not say the word as often as I should but I show it in different ways. To those who know me....I don't enjoy cooking and when I do, its lace with love. I can be very anti-social and when I do socialise and attend functions or "do-s" that's love. When I sewed wedding stuff for my nieces' nuptials, all those efforts have love stamped all over them!!! When BBF needs someone to go shopping with or to run errands with, or whatever.... her majesty wants...hee hee, i do it for love. When my close friends, Ns & Rx need a lunch partner or someone to gossip with, etc; etc - hee hee, love is behind my intent. When I go to Limbang with my good buddy, L.T. there's love in it too. In fact, love is all around us if we care to look.

We need to love ourselves before we love others because if we are intact inside, we will treat ourselves with love and respect. When we are surrounded with love, we will have the very best of intentions and we will invite positive and loving energy and environment. Love is such a splendour thing.

To those who celebrate Valentine's Day -- Enjoy the day.

This blog comes with a lot of good intentions and best wishes.
